.g Crue sim-qw. ms is:-Q 5' Parent-Teac er Association . - ' X 4 fsC0l0f l A ' A The Parent Teacihers Association was organized in 1915. Its mem- bers were few but the interest of the entire town was focused on them. They worked patiently and under great handicaps for the benefit of the students. Our buildings, black boards, fountains, and equipment of various kinds are enduring monu-ments to the untiring efforts and devo- tion of those first parents and teachers who started so -courageously up- on a new venture. ' Q Quietly and unostentatiously they have carried -on this work through the years to a glorious success. T g Each year has seen greater thing.s accomplished for the continued growth and betterment of tfhe school. Entertainment of the highest. type has been brought to the toiwn, world.famous lecturelrs have' given us the benefit of their knowledge, musicians of' great merit have poured out their most exquisite melodies for us, all through the efforts of the P. T. A. T Q . . This year they have given us the cafeteria, which is a much needed addition to our school. It was started with very little finance but through sheer determination and sticktoitiveness they have achieved success. Out of the profits they have completed the .unused basement rooms with concrete floors, bouglht sofme much needed equipment for the -Doimestic Science R-oom, and helped in va-rious other ways. They are now planning a rest room for the students and teachers and we may rest assured that it will be a success. 1 T ff We' have chronicled here, to the best of our ability, a few -of the ac- complisihiments of the Parent Teachers Association but it is impossible to tell, even in a small way, just how much it means to us. No other or- ganization is so strong andpotent for good as that of Parents and Teach- ers. H ' In leaving, the Class of '25 wishes to express its gratitude to the P. T. A. for their untirinig efforts and loyalty to the school. May the suc- cess which they slo rightfully deserve be with 'them throu-ghout the com- ing years. - I f ,.S C37 1, 1 'l i l mu f l 5 ci... sNrh,4 i' i ii Q gl l fan .3 5 HSA' .il 513: 1 A ,, . 11111 fri' n ll l .ul WL .pf Q' '-4..,,T X ,i, l 'l i 5. l l .V . il ill vw E24 Mx?
