Jim DeHaven, President Steve Eckert, Vice-President Seniors We, the class of ’62, walked across the stage to receive our di¬ plomas. We had sponsored the an¬ nual Homecoming, a Government Day, a Senior Play, and several dances just like any other class. And we had managed to live through Mr. Peck’s infamous tests, which was nothing really unique— though we thought so at the time. But our class was something more than this—something special. For, as the class of 1962, we were the last class to graduate from the Old Sturgis High School.
