Little do many of the readers of our Mato Paha realize the work and co- operation that goes into one of these publications .... not on the part of the staff, but of the people who have will- ingly pitched in and helped us where- ever and whenever they could. It would be impossible to count the times that Jack Hoel, Dave Knapp, and Al Moeller carried flood lamps from place to place and assisted us in the darkroom or the tirnes 'Hank' cleaned after us when we pulled stakes. Earl Waterson deserves a vote of thanks for looking up the 'vi- tal information' we were lacking. It was largely through the outstanding co-operation of the businessmen that our yearbook was made possible. The spirit with which they contribute to and support our school is the spirit which makes our community what it is. We appreciate Mr. Urton's efforts to keep us in our photographic needs. Thanks to the students who posed for pictures not once or twice, but some- times three times when, because of some catastrophe caused by the dark- room crew, the first shots didn't turn out as we'd planned. The final thanks goes to you of Sturgis High School who cooperated in more than one way. Thanks for topping the subscription sales of previous years, and for being so patient with us. We hope you enjoy the 1951 Mato Paha. Dolores Voorhees, Editor Roger Reeder, Sponsor .,,... Qs. ,., .ada-f--' ii 77 YI gl. A ?'P T' I E ....
