Students interested in the steam locomotive, model building and other phases of steam rail-roading meet to w ork and discuss various aspects of this interesting hobby. This club using a hall-end room, is building a complete model railroad. .l Cld Making its debut this year is the Art Club sponsored by Mrs. Stevens. Students manifesting an interest in .my branch of art are welcome to join this club. L afeteria vUorh ' !er3 Nutritious well - balanced hot lunches are served by the cafeteria staff at Sturges. They are assisted by the cafeteria workers who are se- lected and supervised by Mrs. Louise Holt. Courtesy and service have long been watchwords of this group of hard-working students. Pog 44 mtm

jpantd Los Picaros, a club for Spanish students and sponsored by Mrs. Stemple, meets every Friday in room two. Some of the many interesting- activities this club has during the year are a Mexican dinner, a Christ- mas party with a Spanish Pinata and a Spanish movie. J eip K therA A deeper understanding between the various creeds and cultures at Sturges is the goal of the Help Oth- ers Club, sponsored by Mr. Carl Thorsell. This club has helped to promote good citizenship and har- mony at Sturges for several years. - , ' WoJJ lU pl cu A new club at Sturges this year is the Airplane Club under the spon- sorship of Mr. Wright.
