m as There are no two people more important in our lives than our Mothers and Fathers. Our lives are placed in their hands and there we remain all during the years when we are growing up. Their best years are devoted to us to provide for our material and spiritual needs and seeing that we grow up to be worthy citizens. For all of this, Mom and Dad, we are grateful. To show you in some small way how grateful, we dedicate this, Echoes of Yesterday, to you, the most important people in our lives. DEDICATION FACULTY MRS. They were as follows: Martha Alexander, Janice Butler, Mary Cottingham, Tommy Forrest, Mildred Heuer, DeAnn Howald, Robert Koletzke, Bill Littrell, Jimmy Murray, Allen Pryor. John Roberts, Donald Robinson, Kay Rose, Catherine Shannon, Helen Sheridan, and Carolyn Watson. Our sponsor was Mr. Max Blackburn. Our Homecoming Candidate was Kay Rose and escort Robert Koletzke. As we gained the title Silly Sophomores in the year 1958--59. We are sorry to lose Martha Alexander, Allen Pryor, DeAnn Howald, and Carolyn Watson. We gained, and later lost Marion Eastman. We are happy, however, to have Betty Lou Love. Our Homecoming Candidate was Betty Lou Love and escort Robert Koletzke. Mrs. Beverly Wilson was our class sponsor. In the next year 1959-60 we gained the title of Love Sick Juniors, there were eleven of us as we had lost Catherine Shannon, and Helen Sheridan. The biggest event of the year for us was the Junior and Senior Prom, which was held at the Hoxsey Hotel at Mexico, Missouri. Our theme was Moonlight and Roses. Mrs. Beverly Wilson was our class sponsor. We had the honor of having Kay Rose elected Homecoming Queen with Bill Littrell as her escort. Miraculously, we changed to Sophisticated Seniors! We are now experiencing both thoughts of joy and sadness since we are walking through these school halls for the last time. This year we gained Daryl Burnett, Helen Sheridan and George Long which makes our class number twelve. We are sorry to have lost Tommy Forrest. Mrs. Harold Schofield is our senior class sponsor. This year has brought on much hard work as toward a goal of a Senior Trip to New Orleans and down into the Southern States. A few of us plan to go to college and others to work, but we all have definite goals ahead of us. We will always remember the times we have had at Sturgeon High School. Betty Lou Love was our candidate for Homecoming with Robert Koletzke as her escort. We wish to thank all our teachers and parents for their patience in helping us through our high school days. 13 CLASS WILL I.
