Extracurricular Activities President- J. Murray Hooker, Vice-President- Jo Anne Martin, Secretary- Carol Williams, Sponsor- Mrs. Mildred Hopkins, Reporter- Judy Conner, Treasurer- Nash Williams. The Student Council is composed of elected officers and two representatives from each home room. This organization acts as a board of directors for all stu¬ dent activites of the school. It serves as the executive body of the Student Coopera¬ tive Association of which every student is a member. The Council grants charters and assigns pro j ects to each club. It sponsored the Christmas party and all Homecoming activities, and published a student handbook. Representatives from the Student Council are sent to annual district and state meetings, and also attend a summer workshop. Student Council sponsored Homecoming festivities. 25
