A HIGH SCHOOL IS A PLACL FOR mt COMMUNICATION AND CIRCULATION OT THOUGHT.... PROLOGUE The idea of a high school is not symbolized by the walls of the build¬ ing or the tools of learning that it contains, but it is represented by those who come within these wallg to make use of these tools. Each person contributes individually to the compo¬ site by his thinking, his ideas, and his actions. As individuals mingle in classes, extra-curricular activities and social functions, their person¬ alities merge with the standards of the represented communities and the policies of the school to form the un¬ mistakable image of a high school.
