Osborn Stryker, Ohio Q35 xx xixwxl x N5 . X611 The fall of 1952 saw the selection ol four young girls as cheerleaders of the Jr. High of Stryker High School. They worked long and hard hours in developing their cheers. It seems as though part of their success wore off onto the team as they were very victorious. At the end of the year we had only three cheer- leaders because Carolyn Hornyak moved to Defiance. KIIIEN EHllRllADlRS In the early part of Oct. the student body selected the cheer- leaders for the ensuing year. The girls in accepting their responsibility went on to prove themselves worthy of their selection. Spending many hours in developing tricky routines and new cheers the girls received the full support of the student body as well as praises from all who saw them work. They followed the teams through thick and thin, and win or lose they were there en- couraging them on until the final decision.
