How- ever, a match with Campbell changed all that. The Cats suffered their first and only loss of the year to Campbell by a score of 8 to 2, Both Campbell and Struthers finished with 10-1 records, but Campbell had defeated Struthers in regular season play, giving them the first place trophy, while the Cats took runner-up honors. Money was obtained through selling subscriptions and ads. Also, they spon- sored a dance after a basketball game. he Dress Code was outdated . . . at least the students thought so. That's when the Student Congress went into action. A meeting was set up with the faculty, and compromises were reached. Some Student Congress Members went to other schools for an exchange day. Others participated in the canned food drive.
