Underclassmen take a variety of classes, like these guys in Chemistry ll. l AN UNDERCLASSMEN IS SOMEONE WHO . . . buys elevator passes . . . has 0 Mrs. Doyle for English . . . actually has a combination lock on his locker . . Q takes Speech I . . . thinks there's a swimming pool on the fourth floor . . . cries a lot . . . is not too sure what the Homecoming is . . . is thirty-five minutes late for class because he can't find the science complex . . . starts shaving . . . is always early for classes after the first day . . . is late for class because he forgets his locker combination . . . does not wear make-up . . . For one hundred thirty-eight students from Struthers, the school day starts early. Vocation- al school students catch the bus at 7:50 A.M., Cschool begins at 8:30 A.M.J and their day ends early Cat 2:20 P.M.J'. Some of the subiects Cvoted most-worthy-getting-up-early-lor with our guys and girlsj included the following: Cosmetology, Medical Assistant, Child Care, Clerkflypist, Electrician, Auto Body, Auto Mechanics, Machine Trades, and Graphic Arts. Days at the Vocational school end for Seniors, but the students will never lose the skills they've gained. . l 211' L in ,4 'E Visa.
