HHH WHHMNNHle Unintentionally, the NHS Assembly occurred on April Fool's Day. Surprise! The parents oi those students to be inducted were informed of the Assembly and their part in it, but the inductees were not. Surprise! During the course of the Assembly, speeches on NHS traits were delivered-character CRick larussij, scholarship CKeith Brantleyj, leadership tBob Durickl, and service Clanet lVlcCleeryJ. Bob Durick broke away from the traditional serious speech-his was humorous, but had a message. Surprise! But, there were occurrences at the Assembly that were not coincidental. For example, the students inducted had been working for three, and in some cases four, years to reach their goal-the NHS.
