Junior Varsity Team: Front Row-Tom Creed, Ken Philibin, Tony Verotsko, Mike Moorhead, Jett Simpson, Jim Vasilchek. Row 2-Coach John Hritz, Gregg Riddle, Tom Kotasek, David Fedor, John Tesyk, Jim Clark, Ken Jones. Missing-Joe Scavelli. The Junior Varsity started oft poorly this year, losing their first two games. lronical- ly, the 75-76 J.V. team started oft the same way. Their first victory came on a wild overtime victory at Salem. They beat Hubbard the following game but were upset in the next two contests. This is how the remainder of the season progressed. The players and Coach Hritzlwere unable to capture a third consecutive win at any point in the season. inconsistency plagued ended successfully at 10-8 and they gathered in 7 of 14 SVC contests. The Freshmen had another rough season finishing at 5-10. Coach Dean Burns kept sixteen players on the squad hoping that a few of them could develop their hidden talents. He held his practices at Lyon Plat land Center Street, and the things that the players experienced going to and from practices will always remain in their minds, the team throughout the season.
