Teachers in the English department use their knowledge and efficiency to help us master our own language. Using recordings of dramas and poetry by the English teachers helps in the study of litera- ture and makes it more interesting. In speech classes, the students learn ways to better their speaking habits, gain an au- dience's interest, and to participate in de- bates. The use of tape recorders aids the stu- dent to recognize his mistakes and to learn to be a better speaker.
