Huzicko, S.H.S.-64 Fitch-34 Struthers caught fire in the second half defeating the Fitch Falcons with a'stupendous 64-34. score. With plenty of hustle and ball-control., the Kerlekmen sprung easily to this contest. Vince Murphy hooped in 18 markers for the highest score. S.H.S.-55 Wilson-44 The Struthers Cats jumped into another amazing conquest by overtaking the Redmen 55-44. Chalking up the points were Vince Murphy and Chris Ellis. During the fourth period, the Cats became too tough for the Redmen to handle. Ill-Y uw , ' sag. ' , 43 E if . ss... , if Q si S.H.S.-67 Girard-42 The Wildcat basketeers scalped the Girard Indians .with a tremendous victory featuring the fabulous playing of Vince Suber, high scorer with 22 points. S.H.S.-67 East--440 Chris Ellis, junior, helped to heave an easy victory for the sensational Cats. Bob Patton chipped 17 markers to up- heaval the Golden Bears 67 to 40. fy 5, ,jf - if II7

Basketball S.H.S.-67 Hubbard-31 ln their opening game of the 1966-67 season, the Wildcat hardmen took down the Hubbard Eagle's with the incredible sharpshooting of Vince Suber, high.scorer with 26 points. The Hubbard Eagle's came down to a loss of 67 to 31. S.H.S.-58 Mooney-55 A tally of 10 points made by senior center Bob Patton clinched a victory for the mighty Wildcat Hoopsters. Struthers felt a very tremendous game as the opposition tried the Wildcats skill but couldn't conquer our mighty Varsity. S.H.S.-71 Rayen-57 Struthers Basketeers saw the effect of good team effort when they stripped the Rayen Tigers with a 71 to 57 victory. The Wildcats were hot and shot a high percentage with Vince Suber and Bob Patton leading the Kerlekmen with the most markers. S.H.S.-75 Campbell-59 The Cats turned in a fine performance as they burned the nets of their arch-rivals with tremendous 75 points to the Red Devils 59. Chris Ellis chipped in 21 points bounc- ing the final score. S.H.S.-54 Boardman-43 The determined Wildcats struck down the Spartans with a convincable 54'-43 victory knocking down the Spartans with another S.V.C. loss. The mighty Wildcat senior, Wayne Watts, shot an impressive 14 points. S.H.S.-80 Warren Western Reserve-61 The high-steaming Wildcats made Western Reserve their sixth victory in a row as they attacked Warren with a well- rounded assault of 80-61. f 'r '..'1 -. II8 1' 3 1- as , . S.H.S.-74 Brookfield-57 Struthers fans saw another victory come to the Cats as they battled the Warriors to a 17 point lead. High hoopsters for this game were Vince Suber with 22 markers, and Chris Ellis with 18 markers. S.H.S.-54 Campbell-38 The Wildcat-combine overcame a stubborn Red Devil defense and slow-down tactics to emerge victor and rack up victory number 12. Vince Suber once again led the Cat Cagers with 21 points. S.H.S.--51 Hubbard-54 The Hubbard Eagles cooled the 12 game winning streak by a mere 3 points. The Cats, having an all- around bad night, brought to Struthers their first Steel Valley loss. Vince Suber and Bob Patton were the high scorers. S.H.S.-56 Canfield-541: Even without the fine playing of their captain, Vince Suber, the Kerlekmen brought a victory. High scorer of the feat was Jerry Provnicky with a tally of 14 points. S.H.S.-57 Boardman-55 The largest crowd of the season was packed into the Struthers Fieldhouse as the fabulous Cat Cagers ranked down the Spartans to their second loss to the terrific Wildcats. Vince Suber hooped in 16 as Chis Ellis rimmed in 15 markers. S.H.S.-62 Fitch-53 The industrious Cats won another game for their fine total. The Cats lost their ace, Moe Suber in the first half, but this didnlt stop them from con- quering Fitch 62 to 53. S.H.S.-57 Girard-22 Vince Murphy saw that this game brought the Cats their well-earned Steel -' Valley Title by bouncing in 21 markers H as Bob Patton shot in 12. S.l'l.S.-47 Brookfield-63 The Cats suffered their second loss of the season when the Warriors played one of their best games. Team spirit was low because of the injury of their ace, Vince Suber. Bob Patton was high scorer with 16 markers. M
