Highlights of the year were many. Winning the Lincoln County one act play trophy was certainly one, also winning 2nd place Debate at Edmond was another. For all, the overnight stay at Western Hills Lodge near Tahlequah was something to remember. Four students qualified for the state meet in April: .Danny Beltz in Humorous, Zagonyi Brant in Women's Extemp, Pam Plummer in Dramatics, and Sarah Chambers in Standard Or- atory and Analysis of Address. The one act play also qual- ified to go to the state meet. Members of the cast were Jerry Morris, Pam Plummer, Phyllis Monday, and Marilyn Moore. The speech activities were directed by Mr. Cooper and Miss Standridge. 1958-59 SPEECH CLUB: Top Row: Curtis Hale, George White, Mack Nauman Danny Beltz, George Brant, Kenny Davidson.
