Picture 1969-Tony presenting gift to Mr. Keils. Awards On November 20th, 1961, the Awards Ban- quet took place in the gym, from 6:00 to 10:00 P.M. The major intention of this banquet was to honor those who contributed to the glory of our school. After a pot-luck dinner, awards and letters were presented to our outstanding boys, who had won for Strongsville High School both championships: baseball and football, 1960- Picture 1561-George Kapcar: most valuable baclcfield player. Adding to the success of the evening we had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Bill Edwards, head football coach of Wittenburgh College.
