Tino fter time he would be called on to carry the ball and time af er time be would seep shaking off tacklers .nd drivirg for every in h that was available de was also our kicker and during the last nart of tte season got many beautiful punts J ck 1 a senior and leaves shoes which are hard to fill rof Whitmore End Altdough never having olayed football before this year, Leroy DICKSQ up tne fundamentals of the game very rapidly and oy the end of the se son w s doing very splendid Job The oonosition soon found that petting around nis end res no easv task However, his ability ras not confined to dezense as he w s in there n1c'ing those masse o t of he air James Lant End Due to an injury of a long time ago, this was the first full season for James, and he did a very fine Job what he lacked in ex perience he made up in spirit and fight He is a senior and will be greatly missed from the squad next year Howard Dalton Fullback Howard was one of the iron men of the squad, playing almost the entire time. He also nroved to be quite versatile by taking a back- field most on offense and a line oosition on defense. Howard is a senior and will be remembered by many of the opnosition because of the way he bowled them over. Q90 Bloomer End Joe was another member of the squad who had to start .from scratch because of coming from Lomax where bootball was not played. Although this was a great handicap he came along swell and was very much an asset to the team. If he just had another year he would really make it tough on the boys. Loren Allen Tackle Loren was another boy who had e tough Job because of a lack of experience but worked very hard and deserves a lot of credit for his efforts.
