Mr. Glenn Barthelson With pride, respect, and gratitude, we dedicate this 1985 Spokesman to Mr. Glenn Barthelson. Mr. Barthelson obtained a B.S. degree from Lock Hayes State Teacher s College and also studied at Gannon University. He has been teaching 35 years, 34 of which he spent teaching here at Strong Vincent. Through his professional years, he has taught biology, health, physical education, and environmental science. Mr. Barthelson is well liked by his students and fellow teachers. He is very dependable and always has time for his students. He is noted for being the first teacher at school in the morning and is usually the last to leave. Mr. Barthelson interests include hunting, fishing, and cooking, which is one of his favorites. He is also mechanically wise. He is interested in people in general: His care for students doesn't just end at the close of the school year: he is a counselor at a summer camp and he also takes part in educational committees for writing curriculum and deciding which textbooks are best for students. The Spokesman Staff feels that they have dedicated this year's book to a great man and a terrific teacher: Mr. Glenn Barthelson.
