IN MEMORIAM The sudden death of Mr. Robert Ferretti, one of our favorite teachers, shocked and saddened us all. Mr. Ferretti died on Saturday, May 7, 1983 at Hamot Medical Center due to a heart attack. He taught Math and Computer classes, and was an avid tennis coach and enthusiast. Under his direction, Strong Vincent tennis teams won five metro championships. Bob Ferretti was well- known throughout the City of Erie and nearby townships for initiating some of the largest Tennis Tournaments ever held in this area. His love for the game also led him to work summers for the City Parks and Recreation Bureau, teaching youngsters of all ages the basics of tennis. He was an excellent teacher, devoted husband and father, and a friend of all who knew him. When such a man dies, his memory will be forever cherished.
