Our Special Thanks The 1978-1979 SPOKESMAN would not be complete without our special thanks to Mr. Weber and Mrs. Alsheimer. As past advisors they have given years of faithful service. Under their direction and because of their sincere kindness, the yearbook staffs of previous years worked together closely and comfortably. Mr. Weber and Mrs. Alsheimer possess a contagious friendliness and an ability to handle any SPOKESMAN crisis. 1978-79 Spokesman Dedication The teacher we honor by this dedication is Mr. John Mullen. Mr. Mullen has demonstrated his care for students in and out of the classroom. He is always prepared in his daily lessons of grammar and literature. Realizing, that the curriculum of the classroom results in knowledge and the development of skills to be used in future life. While he leads a busy family life, Mr. Mullen has always sought the development of individual student abilities and an active school environment. He participates in school activities as an advisor to the Student Council, Ski-Club, and as coach of our Boy's Golf Team. Principal Mr. Joseph Gervase has been principal at Strong Vincent for the past four years. Even before then, he was well-known to everyone. He was a teacher here for seventeen years and an assistant principal for nine years. His great school spirit is reflected through the student body. Since his appearance as principal in 1975, he has been trying to develop the quality of our school to include a greater degree of excellence. It is working. To those who know him, he is a nice man with a good knowledge of what’s going on in this school. He works very hard to keep the students and faculty together. It is a very hard task, but he has been doing it for the past four years and will probably do it for more years to come. Many thanks to Mr. Gervase for his allegiance to Strong Vincent.
