Miss Dorothy Evans was a member of the original Strong Vincent faculty. Before coming to Vincent, she taught at Central High School. M'hile teaching at Vincent, Miss livans taught both United States History and French, and served as advisor to many senior class activities. Now that she has retired, Miss Evans will be able to devote more time to gar- dening and traveling, two of her favorite hobbies. Miss Lillian Peters, a teacher dedicated to her work, retired from teaching after many years of serv- ice to Strong Vincent. She will always be remembered by her P.O.lJ. and United States History students for her sincere interest in the subjects she taught. Due to her intense liking for the theater, Miss Peters served as the advisor to the Dramatics Club for several years. Our Retired -TBLZCIQHTJ Mr. Paul Schenck, after serving on the Strong Vin- cent faculty for tnany years, recently retired. He had been school Treasurer and golf coach. This former teacher always had a boys' homeroom and he was very proud of this fact. During any school fund- raising drive, his homeroom always led the others. He encouraged his boys to realize the importance of doing all they could to improve their community. Mr. Schenck, who taught Bookkeeping, will always be remembered and appreciated by his students. Miss Marion Van Natta taught Intermediate Alge- bra and Trigonometry before retiring from the Strong Vincent faculty. She received her degree in Mathematics from Mount Holyoke. During her years of teaching at this school, Miss Van Natta was an advisor for many activities. She was especially active in Y-Teens, College Club, and junior Red Cross. Strong Vincent has lost a wonderful teacher and an understanding friend with the retirement of Miss Van Natta.
