'ei The Iuniors started school September 5 with 20 members and Mr. Gulezian as our class advisor. Wallace Enman was elected president of the class, Sherry Flood, vice president, Pat Newell, secretary, lane Eustis, treasurer, and Celia Huff, student council. We started out with 15405.25 in our treasury. We now have on March 12, 35701.16 We voted to pay 25 cents a month for dues. ln Uctober we sponsored a Halloween Ball which was very successful. We made S75 at this dance. We have served Schoolmen's Lunches every third Wednesday of each month. On the 6th of March we held a supper for students participating in the one-act play contest. We charged 75 cents a plate. Both were successful. At Thanksgiving we had a turkey and chicken raffle and we are doing well on hot dogs this year. The Iunior girls who played basketball this year jfifgg? unior Class News are as follows: lane Eustis, Pat Newell, Iune Bubier and Celia Huff. Iudith Neil was one of the managers. The Iunior boys who participated are Wallace Enman, Wendall Voter, Iames Lam- bert, Sherry Flood, Earl Allen and Lynn White. The cheerleaders from the Iunior Class are Zelda Huff and Lorelei Huff. Also many of the Iuniors are in the glee club. The Iuniors who participated in plays this year were Delbert Reed, Sherry Flood, and Lynn White. Pat Newell and lane Eustis were prompters. It was required that all juniors learn a public speaking piece and the best speakers were to par- ticipate in the public speaking contest. Those who spoke in the contest were Delbert Reed, Iune Bubier, Zelda Huff, Lorelei Huff, Celia Huff, Iane Eustis. Delbert Reed will help repre- sent our school in the Franklin County Speaking Contest and the regional Spear Contest.

B etty Stevens Ion Lambert In the second week of school Aldana Witham joined us from Phillips, making seventeen in our class. In the way of money raising we have had a Talent Show, a Lion's Club Supper and we are planning for our St. PatrickIs Day Dance. From our class the cheerleaders are Ioan Lambert and Aldana Witham. Those who are active in sports are Ion Lambert, Ioan Lambert, Shirley Hubbard, Robert Cook, Aldana VVitham, Deanne Stevens, Karl Bunnell, Iack Reynolds, and Clifford White. Most of the students of our class took part in the Glee Club and Dramatics Club. Iudy Sprague and Aldana Witham represented us in the three act play put on by the Dramatics Club. Our boys took part in the Rifle Club. Gordon Probert and Peter Norris were active in the Ski Club. We are very happy about Peter Norris's winning fourth in the New England Iunior Fly Casting Contest. Those who have gone out for Public Speaking are Betty Stevens, Iean Brauza, Deanne Stevens, Iudy Sprague, Ioan Lambert, Peter Norris, and Shirley Hubbard.
