During the North Atlantic one month cruise and the four month Mediterranean cruise, the Snipes stood a lot of watches, are a lot of peanut butter, and tried hard to catch up on their sleep, And there were the ever present questions from the Chief Engineer - M Division: Where is all the feed water going? B Division: Where is the economy haze? R Division: Is the Motor Whale boat running? The Snipes enjoyed their liberty, but were always careful not to lose their five days basket leave.
