Al each home game +he band enlerlained 'the speclalors afler daily morning prac+ices 'rhal prepared lhem for +he job. Wilh fhe addi+ion of whi+e spals and gloves, +he band finished ifs loolball season wilh new precision and nealness. Praclice on +he 'Foo+ball field was ended only fo begin baslcefball season. A+ rhis lime, +he band provided pre-game and hall-lime music 'for fhe enioymenf of all sporfs enfhusiasls. Nor +o be forgo'H'en was +he memorable Chris+- mas program lhe band par+icipa'I'ed in wi+h +he glee clubs. I+ was presenled 'ro +he s+uden'f body as an audi+orium on December 2, and as an evening program for lhe public on December 2. A highligh+ of +he program was a number of fableaus depic+ing +he firsl Chrisfmas. Truly, one of lhe band's biggesl' inleresls is in concerl season, when af+er many +rials, a number of seleclions are chosen 'From an inferesling reper- +oire of music for 'rhe spring concerl. Classics, novelly and modern fhemes were all represenled in a concerl lhal' richly rewarded +he band members' hard worlr and conscienlious s+udy.
