During football and basketball seasons dances are held after each home game. The big at- traction of the season, is of course, the Junior- Senior Prom held in May.

The 1955 Homecoming at Streator High was held on September 29. 330. and October 1. Even before these days, however. excitement was evident with news ot' float decorations and wonderment about who would be chosen queen. The candidates were Judy Klein. Freshman. Betty Brooks. Sophomore. Cherie Williams. Junior. and JoAnn Yoight, Senior. -, --..--- On the eve of September 29. Homecoming was to 9 officially open with a pep rally at the athletic field. x but due to rainy weather on preceding' days. the rally had to he eancelled. I i ,AQ lffll
