On January 21, 1949 all three choruses brought to the people of Streator a pro- gram they shall never forget. This program consisted of selections by the Community Orchestra, solos by members of the choruses, and a cantata, OUR STREATOR Sir Nutcracker. by Tschaikowsky. The girls, in formal dress, presented a colorful picture. In the spring the advanced girls glee and the boys glee presented the lively operetta, The Belle of Bagdadf' The accompanists for the glee clubs were Donna Dorland and Diane Lotz. HIGH SONGSTERS 526
