The Diversified Occupations program may be described in general as a cooperative effort on the part of industry and the school to extend on-the-job training to the in-school youth. Students to be eligible for the pro- gram must be at least sixteen years oldg must have a junior or senior standing in high schoolg must possess a definite apti- tude, interest, and capacity for learning an occupationg must carry two regular high school projectsg and spend three consecu- tive hours each day on the job, for which they receive regular pay.
