Centrals great backs led by Harold Johnson flashy negro star proved themselves too elusive for the local stalwarts. PEKIN 32 - STREATOR 0 Pekin scoring almost at will during the first half proved to be one of the toughest elevens in the Big Twelve. Streator came back fighting in the second half and held the fine Pekin backs from crossing while they themselves were constantly threatening the Pekin goal line by their great passing attack DANVILLE 33 - STREATOR 2 Led by their mighty fullback, Rayburn, Danville marched to five touchdowns.
