Sixteen Cgeardscrabbla DFLLA SWANSON RFBFCCA R WFINSTFINI Py Y MARX A WINSHII NIAYINI' DF MUTH MARGARFT TKACH MILDRFD KRFNNAN The School 'lhe OlgdIllLdl,lOll of the school was changed considelably durlng the wear 1932 1933 by the new prmclpal Mr Jordan In ordel that the school day mlght be continuous an e1ght perlod day was scheduled At 8 Z5 a m all pupils reported to thelr homerooms where thev remained until 8 35 a m During this time all announcements were made and tlcket sales and such matters were taken care of During the first semester there wele two lunch periods but for the accommodatlon of puplls l1v1ng long dlstances fl om the school three lunch perlods were scheduled 1n the second semester Due to this extra period the school day was extended to 3 55 p m Large numbers of students patromzed the school cafeterla where under the capable management of Mrs Leonard appetlzmg lunches were S61V6d The food was exceptlonally good and the DFICBS reasonable No new members were added to the faculty durlng the year but two new postlons were created dean of glrls and personnel oflicer MISS Nach trleb who took over the dutles of the former devoted half of her time to the supervlsion of all girls activities Mr Conner the personnel ofhcer checked up on all absences Each semester was dlVld6d into three grading periods one of SIX weeks duratlon and two of seven All grades were placed upon one card multiples of five belng used The elght tenths credlt lOl passing grade was abollshed 'J Commercial Geography, Junior Busi- , ness r 7' .
