THE HIGH SCHOOL REVIEW Manager Alfred Murray, who has faithfully supermtended the busmess end of this publlcatlon along wlth contrlbutmg at dlfferent tlmes to the hterary slde Mlss Whlte Mlss Hartford and Mr Harmsh faculty representatives on the Staff have glven mvaluable ald Edythe Anderson the capable Art Editor Margaret Jennett Edxtor of Jokes Loulse Black, head of the Lxt erary Department and Burgess and Lmane Subscrlptlon Managers have also done thelr work exceedmgly well Sam Plumb has ably 8SSlSt6d the Managmg Edltor Wllllam Lewls has recorded at length the Athletic events of the School, Lennox Grey has made the usually dry Exchange Page one of real mterest and the Class Reporters also have done thelr best whlle the Alumm news were well taken care of by Regina Iskowlch Edltor of that sectlon of the Revlew The underclassmen on the Staff have proved themselves so capable of fillmg the posltlons whlch they occupy that the Edltor does not hesltate to recommend them to fill slmxlar places next year, and the result should be a very successful Revlew for 1916 17 OUTGOING TEACHERS E SINCERELY regret to record the fact that Streator Hlgh IS to lose four of nts best teachers wlth the golng of Mr Rawhns, Mr Scott Mr Harmsh and Mr Mueller Mr Rawlins has been Prmclpal of our School smce the year before the entrance of the Class of 1916 the Class whlch IS bemg graduated this June He has been a good teacher and a klnd guide to all of the members of the Class and they with the rest of the students smcerely regret hns gomg as It IS doubtful lf such an earnest and hard workmg supermtendent can be easxly found Mr Scott came to the School at the same tlme as dld Mr Rawlins and he too, wlll be greatly mlssed by hls pupils and by all those who really knew him He IS a cheer ful and lnspxrmg teacher and the sort of txreless worker who gets results as was amply demonstrated by the fact that one of h1s puplls won the Gold Medal whlch the I V H S A offered at the LaSalle Interscholastlc Meet The commerclal department has had for five years an efllclent head ln Mr Scott Mr Harmsh IS to be congratulated on hls bemg appomted Supermtendent of the Hugh School ln whlch he taught before he came to Streator and though he wlll be greatly mlssed here hls fnends rejolce w1th hlm ln hxs good fortune Mr Mueller, though only wxth the School for one year has done fine work both ln the teachmg of German and with the Orchestra He also will be mlssed It IS to be hoped that some of these teachers may be led to change thexr mmds as Streator Hlgh IS losmg much ln thelr going TO THE JUWIORS We offer thanks for the gala mght receptxon THE SENIORS 8 1 ' 1 1 - 1 1 ' 1 1 1 1 ' 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 ' 1 . . . , ' 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 Y 1 1 1 1 1 1 . , , . , .
