ELIZABETH M. SHEEDY Kiln QHHBIUUITHIII Elizabeth M. Sheedy was our first teach- er of mathematics, and had acted as head of that department for many years. From the very beginning of her long career she had become a Textile tradition in that it was natural for pupils to take their troubles and problems to the sympathetic and un- derstanding ear of '6Miss Sheedyf' She soon entered into all their experiences, and made them feel that she was a true friend. Her earnest advice was always mixed with a touch of innate humor. Withal she had a generous and kindly heart. No member of the Textile faculty had received more tokens of esteem from pupils than Eliza- beth Sheedy. The seniors of Textile High School join the faculty in expressing their deepest sympathies for the loss of a fine teacher and a wonderful woman.
