During our Time , we have wiTnessed in The aThleTic sphere OT TexTile The winning OT many P.S.A.L. championships, in almosT all The sporTs, including Tencing, baseball, baskeTball, and lv1anhaTTan cham- pionship in TooTball. AT These clashes we all cheered loud, long, and lusTily Tor The Purple and WhiTe TighTing iron-men. Do you remember The old-Tashioned home remedies you used To use, so ThaT when you goT To your music period your ordinarily smooTh, mellow voice would noT be harsh and raspy? The dramaTic socieTy during The Tour years produced many worTh- while and highly amusing plays, among which we saw Seven Keys To BaldpaTe . IT Pays To AdverTise , and The Goose l-langs High. The TaculTy musT be crediTed wiTh heaps oT dramaTic abiliTy Trom Their saTisTacTory producTion oT Winsome Winnie and The FaculTy Show oT I933 , composed oT numerous skiTs. ln our li++le world oT music, we have wiTnessed The incarnaTion oT a band and an orchesTra which enlivened many oT our inTra-school and inTer-school acTiviTies. These occasions included Friday morning as- semblies-remember shorT periods all day?-G. O. dances+especially The lasT one-Tree To G. O. members and The orchesTra had Their new uniTorms on-TooTball games-baseball games. There has been many a change in The hisTorical halls Themselves including The opening OT The pool which lured many oT us mermen and mermaids To iTs sandy shores-oh pardon mel-To iTs icy Tiles on The warm spring and early summer days. AnoTher acquisiTion which was To be one oT The smarTesT shops in school was The opening oT The 6.0. sTore-whaT would we have done wiThouT iTs everTlowing supply oT eighT by Ten-and-a-halT paper Tor ComposiTion Thursday. WhaT would we have done iT we had noT been able To geT down There iusT beTween periods Tor The RegenTs Review book, in which The day's home- work was assigned! There have been many changes on The walls oT our school. Re- member The painT iob ThaT was done and odoriTorous scenT oT painT Tor weeks aTTerward? IT was worTh iT when you remember ThaT you spenT Those periods in The sTudy hall. While we're on The subiecT, The walls. do you recall The murals ThaT were Tinally compleTed?
