DIANNE EDITH HAMILTON (Jo) “Oh, good!” Activities: M.I.A., chatting. Awards: Academic award in Grade VIII. Ambition: Degree in Animal Husbandry. Pet Peeve: People who don’t act their age. MARTHA JANE HARRINGTON “I’ve attended 26 schools in five States before coming to Canada, four years ago.” Activities: Art classes at the Art Gallery, Church, Poster making. Awards: Grade XI Academic Award. Past Glories: Passed Latin 20 and Phys. Ed. 10. Ambition: To pass Latin 30 and Physics 30, and to study Art further. Pet Peeve: Certain young ladies who come into classes late, talk aloud, and read library books in Student Teachers’ classes. Ambition: To graduate from the University Hospital as a Lab Technician. Pet Peeves: Sisters, and clothes that don’t match. Ambition: Social Welfare combined with the ministry. DAVID GALBRAITH (Dave) “Little girls should be seen and not heard.” Activities: Badminton, swimming, all sports. Awards: Two academic awards. Ambition: To live some place where it is warm all year. Pet Peeves: English essays, dull week ends. SYLVIA MARY GEE (Penny) Ambition: To take Home Economics at the U. of A. Activities: Art Club, Modelling Club, Booster Club. LOUISE GEORGE (Slugger) “I’m gonna be a wheel some day.” Activities: A.Y.P.A. Past Glories: Made it to Grade XII.
