KAREN EDGE “Don’t do it today; wait till tomorrow instead.” Activities: Hi-C group, teaching Sunday School, part-time job at the Bay, a boy Ambition: To become a teacher. Pet Peeve: Cowboy music. JEAN EDMONDSON “Going up ‘down’ escalators is futile and vice versa.” Activities: Year Play, swimming, boys, golf, skiing, boys, curling (girls and mixed) making ice cream cones. Ambition: Lots??? Pet Peeve: Jean finds people who think they’re smart, very annoying. DAVID STANLEY EGAR (Stan) “Enjoy yourself. It’s later than you think.” Activities: Dramatics. Past Glories: Three previous Year Plays. DIANNE EINBLAU “Money, money, money.” Activities: Writing, reading, horseback riding, swimming, records (classical). School Chorus, Modelling Club. Ambition: To go to university and eventually to become a good writer. Pet Peeve: Inconsiderate and immature boys. RON EINBLAU “Me Tarzan, you Jane.” Activities: Cars, swimming, dancing, music, horseback riding, reading Science Fiction and Mickey Spillane. Past Glories: Won a Yo-yo contest once. Ambition: To become a millionaire beachcomber. Pet Peeve: Western music. LEOTA ANN EKLUND “Sit on a tack of ambition and you will soon rise.” Activities: School Chorus, bowling, skating, playing the piano. Past Glories: Secretary-Treasurer of School Chorus (1959-60). Ambition: To become a secretary and travel. Pet Peeve: Homework on weekends. SHIRLEY ELLET (Shirl) “If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything.” Activities: Music lessons, skating, tennis, singing in a chorus. Ambition: To study Physiotherapy or Nursing after graduation. Pet Peeve: Combination locks that refuse to open. DAVE ENC.BURG Activities: Curling, skiing, skating, and most spectator sports, also the piano. Ambition: To attend the U. of A. JIM ENGLISH “It could be worse.” Activities: Swim team, Swim Club, Rover Scouts, De Molay, golf. Past Glories: Junior Football, basketball (manager). Ambition: To study medicine. Pet Peeve: Wet and muddy parking lots. MARILYN ERB Activities: C.G.I.T., painting, ping-pong, teaches Sunday School. Awards: Two Academic awards, one attendance award. BOB DEAKIN (Deak) Activities: Secretary Boys’ Curling Club, shooting. Past Glories: Passed Psychology 20. Ambition: To win the Macdonald Brier. Pet Peeve: Double periods of English 30. JUNE DELICATE (Bunny) Activities: Young People’s, C.G.I.T., Glee Club, I.S.C.F. Interests: Boys, swimming, bowling, music. Ambition: To attend Varsity for a B.Ed. Pet Peeve: Studying. Ambition: To continue with music, and to go to University. Pet Peeve: People who say things they don’t mean. Awards: Academic in Grade X. MAUREEN FISK Activities: Horses, horses and more horses. Awards: Grade X athletic award. Ambition: To own and ride the G.R.A. Cutting Champion. Pet Peeve: Edmonton, school, and older brothers. JUDITH FISK Activities: Horses, riding, sports. Ambition: To go to University, then raise quarter horses in the United States and join the G.R.A. (?) Pet Peeve: School. ROBERT FLETCHER (Fletch) “Don’t make no ‘never mind’ at me.” Activities: Taking out a certain red head, eating bananas, football, curling. Awards: Major and minor athletic.
