Ambition: Physical Education at U. of A. Pet Peeve: People that complain, and students with no school spirit are Sharon’s dislikes. GORDON ALMOST Activities: 1SCF Club, riding, skating, model craft. Ambition: Electrical or Aeronautical engineer. Pet Peeve: Students who borrow equipment and then forget where it is. BARBARA ANDERSEN “If you have a good thing—pass it on.” Good luck Grads! Activities: Chairman of Activities Board (2nd Vice), Senior Football Cheerleader, curling. Modelling Club. Past Glories: Girl’s co-ordinator 1958 59. Awards: Gr. 11, minor service award. Comment: Loved that road trip the cheerleaders went on with the senior football team (1957 58). Ambition: U. of A. Faculty of Nursing (B.Sc.? Maybe!). WENDY ANDERTON “It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.” Activities: Y-Teens, bowling. Modelling Club. Ambition: To see Europe. Pet Peeve: Wendy dislikes getting up in the morning, and boys with sideburns. LORRAINE ANQUIST Activities: ISCF, church choir, Young People’s, Glee Club. Ambition: Nursing and to travel around the world. Pet Peeve: English homework on week ends. DAVID ARLIDGE (Oink) “Have fun while you’re still young.” Activities: E.S.B., drums. Awards: I.O.D.E. Scholarship (Art). Ambition: To stay young. Pet Peeve: “Oink” is irritated by homework of any kind. DIANNE ATTWOOD Activities: Debating Club, skiing, spectator sports, skating. Ambition: To get a B.Sc. in Nursing and to work her way around the world. Pet Peeve: Shauna dislikes Hilutzers and green lights that change when she arrives. KENNETH BAKER (Ken) “Well, what’s new with you?” Activities: Hunting, fishing, driving cars. Past Glories: Passing English 30 tests. Ambition: To travel through the U.S.A. Pet Peeve: Teachers who give tests on Monday. ROBIN BAKER Activities: I.S.C.F., Swim Club, Debating Club. Awards: Honors in Grade 10. Ambition: Medicine. Pet Peeve: Math 30. Past Glories: Once got 100% on a Physics exam! Pet Peeve: Men who complain about women drivers. COLLEEN BATEMEN Activities: Dancing, teaching Sunday School. Pet Peeve: Gossip. LAWRENCE BATES (Laurie) “Do it today! Tomorrow you may be dead.” Activities: President of Knox Hi C, Cub Leader, water and snow skiing, cars and “girl”. Past Glories: Passing Math 10 and 20. Ambition: To be a happy bachelor. Pet Peeve: People who bomb around in cars.
