The resulting final was Wildcats 14 - Spartans 0. Senior Bill Earthman summed up the season by saying, lt was pretty disappointing. We had some good times and we had some bad times. Bad breaks, lots of talent Practicing daily against the varsity, the junior varsity team spends much of their time preparing for next year's season. A bunch of these kids will play next year on varsity, said Coach Richard Taylor. Although they finished with a 3-6 district record, As we progressed, we got a whole lot better, said Coach Taylor. At first we didn't have a whole lot of time to work with the kids. They're a fine bunch of young men and good athletes, commented Coach Guy Stafford. They had a little hard luck at times, but when they got. going, they were good. I think it was a good season, said Junior Runningback John Bailey.
