PEP SQUAD The pep squad for 1939 and 1940 was a screaming, yelling, jumping bunch of high school and grade school students who rooted for our football boys at almost every game. We yelled for our team and even got tackled a time or two. Remember Goodwell? Our efficient pep leaders were Mary Woodford Kidwell, Verne Foreman, Betty Rhea Lee, Russel Bloney, and Marvin Patterson. 'Iihe pep squad itself, however, can't be described except that it consisted of nearly all the high school girls and a number of boys. Orur sponsor was Miss Gidden.
