This friendly competition is the source of much fun, but it also serves to unify and organize the classes. Blue and VVhite games in hockey and basketball take place when these sports are in season, and the teams also compete on such occasions as the October Day Color Races and the race to Win the Red Feather Drive. The White team has a white china elephant for its mascot, while the mascot of the Blue Team is a blue china pig. if Ea Blue and White Team Captains LYNDA STAUCKEY ......, ....... Nlembers of both the hall and college teams enjoy the privilege of competing in games with other schools in the area. Each team has its own games throughout the season, although friendly rivalry is also displayed in College-Hall games as well as in various intramurals. lYhile on the court, each girl learns the techniques of basketball. Such occasions promote a feeling of congeniality among the students while stimulating spirit.
