By making and enforcing their own rules the Stratford students prove that the youth of America is capable of directing themselves and solving their own problems. The members of the council are elected by the student body as their repre- sentatives to act as their voice in carrying forth their ideas for the betterment of the school as a Whole. lVith the use of an Honor System, the students learn responsibility and self- discipline by upholding the rules and regulations, and, in so doing, develop into better future Americans.
