King Selects aeen The 1958 Torch Queen was chosen by Mr. Weldon King. Each h school class selected a queen candidate. Pictures of the candi- es were taken by Lytle's and then sent to Mr. King, who judged m. Mr. King was not personally acquainted with any one of the ls. Professional photographer of African scenes, Weldon King has n interested in photography since 1930. He has traveled extens- ly, seven trips to Europe and five to Africa. Many of Mr. King's pictures have been featured in the follow- magazinesz LIFE, HOLIDAY, COSMOPOLITAN, NATIONAL OGRAPHIC, and SATURDAY EVENING POST.
