PROM '85 The Prom and Banquet were held on Friday, May 3 at the Grain Exchange in Stover. The Banquet began at 6 p.m. with everyone enjoying the meal. The place was brightly decorated with an assortment of colored balloons as a centerpiece. The walls were covered with a desert and sunset scene that fit in perfectly with the theme All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight.'' The Prom began at 8 p.m. with the music provided by the Ponderosa Band. The coronation took place around 9 p.m. Chosen as Queen: Ashley Harms; King: Gerald Bremer; Princess: Vicki Ringen; Prince: Ernie Mertgen. Other candidates were Ellene Hoemig, Brenda Layton, Mike Buckler, Russel Knierim, Kelly Metscher, Brenda Rymer, Joel Hinck, and Daniel Schroder. The Prom and Banquet were both exciting and enjoyed by all who attended. Best of Luck Seniors ”1985
