SENIOR CLASS OF 1972 CLASS MOTTO: The dawn has brought us this far, where will the sunset find us? CLASS FLOWER: Yellow Rose CLASS COLOR: Lavender SENIOR TRIP The 1972 Senior Trip began April 26, when 27 seniors and four sponsors departed for Pensacola Beach and the Gulf Coast. On our journey to Florida, we toured the USS Alabama and the USS Drum. Arriving at Pensacola Beach at 11:20 a.m., April 27, we spent the afternoon and the next day en- joying the beautiful beach. We arrived in New Orleans on April 28 and took a guided tour of the city. That night we enjoyed dinner at The Court of Two Sisters. On our travels back to Missouri, we visited the beautiful Rosedown Plantation, the Baton Rouge Capitol, and stopped at Branson, Missouri, for a boat cruise on Lake Taney- como. After five fun-filled days, we returned to Stover with tales of our exciting experi- ences. The Senior Class would like to thank everyone who helped make the wonderful time we had possible. On Friday, May 12, 1972, the Junior Class held a banquet and prom in the honor of the Senior Class. The gymnasium was beautifully decorated with streamers and the entrance was an archway made of roses and green leaves. The theme of the prom was illustrated by a large heart, inscribed with the words, Love Is. Music was furnished by the Electric Memory. The evening was enjoyed by everyone. 39 UNDERGRADS JUNIORS MR.
