Oi Senior Class of 1970 Class Motto—What we are to be, we are now becoming. Class Flower--Silver Carnation Class Colors—Blue and Silver THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM The evening began with a banquet in the cafeteria, with decorations around the theme; The Impossible Dream. The gym was transformed into a world of stars and glitter! A red and blue tissue-covered world was in the center of the room and a gold, star-studded stairway was at the side. It was a beautiful evening, full of fun and excitement. The Senior class would like to thank the Juniors for a won- derful banquet and prom! The rainy evening of April 30, the Senior Class and spon- sors left for an enjoyable trip to Pensacola Beach, Florida and New Orleans. The rain, however, did not dampen the spirit of the Seniors. We enjoyed a day and a half at Pensacola Beach swimming and soaking up the sun. The next day we traveled on to New Orleans. While in New Orleans we had a guided tour of the city. Such points of interest on the trip were the USS Alabama, State Capitol of Louisiana, Beautiful Rosedown Plantation, and Silver Dollar City. We returned to Stover after a wonderful five-day trip, full of exciting events to tell our family and friends. We wish to thank everyone who made this trip possible.
