Senior Class Prophesy The time is I960 and we are floating along on our magic carpet. We are sailing along over Holl'Twood as we look down we see Annaline Balke as a model for her artist husband, Neil Heimsoth, he sometimes draws for Walt Disney Studio. Nelson Hagedorn is in the photography industry. He has a pleasant smile on his face as his favorite movie star, Faye Brown , is posing for her picture. We also find in Hollywood Wilma Duffer as Marjorie Main the second, she is now working on her sixth picture Back in the Chicken House . Our carpet turns it takes us over Chicago we shall take a peek over the edge. Who do we see but Barbara Haynes playing the 1st clarinet part in the Chicago Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. What is that we see ahead? That must be the Lake of the Ozarks. As we come closer Maxine and Leroy Hill have just returned from a successful coon hunt and skinning and stretch- ing coon skins. Leroy and his wife Maxine are making quite a sum of money on the skins. OhI Now we can see Stover. There is Mrs. Martens the former Evelyn Rumans, working hard trying to keep her three children quiet while she keens the supper warm until her husband comes in from work. Who else do we se: in Stover? Is that the dashing young bachelor Kenneth Fischer taking Mr. Porter’s place as Superin- tendent of Schools in District R l. He plans to make many improvements in the school with the helo of his charming and efficient secretary. Our carnet is now taking us to Arkansas where we see the former Donna Marriott and her husband Milton Sidebottom and their two lovely children, Annie Belle and Abner, have dinner in a quiet resturant in Chinkapin Holler. Milton is raising chickens as an interesting and profitable hobby. There is the former Jean Denning and her husband Junior Johnson seated before a fireplace making plans for their new home which is to be built soon. Hey, let’s go to Washington D. C. to see if we can see anyone we know. Yes, ther is Earl Bellamy seated in silence thinking and working hard on an F. B. I. case. He is making quite a bit of progress in working out crime cases. Oopst We are turning toward New York City. Is that music we hear? It must be Darlene Turpin singing at one of the largest Night Clubs in New York. She is on the road to great success. What is that bridge doing across the Atlantic Ocean? It must be the project Billy Douglas has started.! .They say that some day he will be a great Mechanical Engineer. We all look so tired. We had better go back to Stover and wait for another year to look into the future. Admiral Leroy Miller, U. S. Navy, has been recently tran- ferred to the Advance Navel Air Base, Zero, North Pole.
