This year they are: John Dean, Jr., James Timberlake, Charlie Currin, Rufus Brogdcn and Clyde Pleasants. The boys chorus meets every Tuesday, Thursday and every other Friday we meet with the Girls chorus. We all enjoy working on different songs and choruses to be sung on special occasions. Reporters: Johnnie Ellixson Clinton Harris FRIENDSHIP Our schools, our churches, and our homes are great insti- tutions, but to me true friend- ship is one of the most wonder- ful of all institutions. People may like each other because of similar tastes and interests, but this is not enough, respect must pe added. Choose for your friends people whom you can respect and even pattern your life after. Ahove all be loyal to your friend stand up for them instead of secretly tearing them down. Live up to the golden rule NDO unto others as you would have them do unto ycu.u Resolve that as your rule and if your friend is a true friend he will example by the rule himself. Remember jealousy haS DO place in friendship, be both honest and straight forward in your expressions, which often make impressions. Le supGf1O? in your character and personality and expect the same from yOU? friends. Recognize true friend- ship as a great institutiong thereby making our school a greater institution. Let us put true friendship into practice in Stovall High School. Let us be a friend tO all, because Hthe best way to win friends is to be one.N -15- Edith Royst er
