our club HThe Climbers'. The aim. of our oluh is to develop growth and to offer entertain. ment. We gave a program and the boys and girls did very well. We hope our club will be a success. Reporters: Jane Blackwell William O'Brien Eight Grade Bang! Eaill Freshmen! The eight grade started the yea: with a hang. We have the largest class of high school students in the history of the school. To replace two losses fron our last year class, :wo nenoers have enrolled. The ioszes were Bert Slaughter and David Boyle. The new ones are Pauline Boyd and John Wilson. he welcome then to our class. when the smoke of election had blown away we found our- selves with the following Glass officers: President, William Carringtong Vice President, Eloise Newby, Secretary and Treasurer, Louie Simpsong Program Committee, three to be elected each week. During the first few days all of the members were a bit confused when we changed classes. The 'cells rang Qoh, Yes .D and the class moaned, out where we were tc go or what we were to do no one knew until we got there. how after some time, we are beginning to learn what it is all aooux. S EXTHAJ EXTRA! During the first month of school the scphnores have been working nicely, but there is always roon for improvement. We have had a great deoieasc in students since last year. Last yea: there were about thirty five students, but this year we have only twenty six. We are glad to say that not nany of our students have stopped school, but have moved away and are attending another school. The sophnore class officers are as follows: President, Walter Raynorg Vice President, Ivor Gritcherg Secretary, Stanley Cottrell. One of our most helpful and interesting subjects is Englixh. In English we have been learning how to speak correctly. Every Monday' morning me read for expression. This year we have a new hone room teacher, hiss Hill, and we enjoy being taught by her v-ry much. Reporters! Edith Wilson Walter Raynor earoll O'5ricn Junior Glass High Ambitionsl The Junior Class starts the year with h1gh.ambitions. Whethel we win or loose depends on-irely upon the upkeep of these ambi- tions. ' host of our students are taking four suhjec sg eoonctry, History, English, and French, with the exception of foul girls who are taking Home Economics instead of Geometry. Geometry in thirteen propositions in one, however we find it a rather interesting subject.
