MR. MOLDENHAUER COUNCILS The school has three governing organizations, Student Council, Youth Council and the Athletic Board. Student Council, advised by Mr. Gibbon, is made up of the vice president of each club and two representatives from each class. The officers this year were: Beverly Johnson, president; Barbara Olson, vice president; Jackie Wright, secretary; and Gail Grieg, treasurer. This year Student Council sponsored the Homecoming events, planned assemblies , made basketball programs and investigated certain projects, such as, student recognition. The Youth Council under the direction of Mr. Brandt, made the recreational plans for this year. Their main job was to keep the Youth Center open on Saturday nights. An old-time Halloween dance, a Christmas dance, and the annual Twirp Season were among the activities sponsored by Youth Council. Officers were: Marlene Skaar, president; Eddie Siels.vice president; Sylvia Dahl, treasurer; and Karen Cook, secretary. The Athletic Board is made up of two representatives from each class. Among the jobs of the Athletic Board one was to okay the cheerleaders uniforms and the letters for sports.
