Life is to be fortified by many friendships. To love, and We shall all leave SHS with many wonder- ful memories, the most precious of which are memories of our friendships. The friends we have made here affected every aspect of our school day. For many of us, each morning began by riding to school with friends, sharing a seat on either a car or a bus. We looked forward to meeting the gang in the Caf or outside the attendance office. At 8 we ' d find ourselves with the same homeroom buddies brought close to us by the alphabet year after year. Then, each and every day, we encountered all types of friends: kids we only knew from the one class we shared with them . . . Commons and lunch buddies with whom we shared tables and walks to the snack bar . . . the hi ' s and quick locker conversations in those always- too-short four-minute breaks . . . dependable friends who helped us through tough times and dependent friends whom we tried to help . . . and the after-school buddies in sports and clubs. With each one we shared a brief moment, an hour, a day, our lives and our inner thoughts. Some of these friends will be with us for the rest of our lives. Others will live only in our memories. As we move on to pursue our individual dreams, the happy times we shared as Stoughton High ' s Class of 1987 will remain forever in our hearts, and our friendships will be part of the memory. No matter where life ' s journey takes each of us, we will always be bonded as one big family. In tribute to these FRIENDSHIPS, the 1987 STOTONIAN is dedicated.
