he day of beginning has come; graduation is upon us. As the strains of the recessional fade away, our footsteps echo for the last time through jthese hallowed halls. But the melody of memories that go with us will linger in our hearts, long after we have left the por- tals of S.H.S. As we begin anew, we are reminded of the lessons we have learned. To every walk of life w shall strive to bring the high ideals and moral courage which will motivate and cjirect us henceforth. We go forth to accept our responsibilities, mirroring the confidence and trust placed in us by faculty and friends. We. the Class of 1960, stand ready to affirm this faith, each in his individual manner. We, the young adults of today, and the generating force of tomorrow, stand humbly and hopefully in the light of the future. Wlierever our paths take us, we shall re- member the warmth of the kindred experiences shared in growing up. In years hence, may we reminisce through these pages with the fondest of memories.
