DANIEL R. DONAHUE Assistant: Principal To the Class of 1956: Graduation from Stoughton High School repre- sents an accomplishment of which you may be proud. In fulfilling the requirements for graduation, you have acquired invaluable assets in the form of attitudes, habits, skills, interests, and funds of information, which will be at your beck and call during your entire lifetime. Your success in life will depend largely upon the extent to which you utilize these recently acquired assets, and the purpose for which these are employed. If you keep in mind your responsibilities as a citi- zen and member of society, you will, of necessity, use your education in the direction intended. Congratulations for past achievements and best wishes for future successes in the arena of life! You have good equipment; use it advantageously! ALBERT C. WILLIAMSON Director of Guidance To the Class of 1956: Your record at Stoughton High School has been completed, and a review of the six years I have known the class reveals that there has been a steady growth in your scholarship and citizenship. Your life in high school is a capsule form of adult life and responsibilities. The good qualities of charac- ter, work habits, and attitudes, which you have de- monstrated at Stoughton High School, will serve you well as you advance to future schooling, work, home establishment, and civic duties. Our America needs in the second half of this cen- tury a high level of citizenry to preserve and enrich the nation. This is your challenge! I extend my best wishes to you, one and all, for your success and happiness. DANIEL R. DONAHUE Assistant Principal ALBERT C. WILLIAMSON Director of Guidance
